- Mar 17, 2010 Hello, first check the file type of the songs you're trying to load. Mixxx supports FLAC, MP3, WAV, and AIFF at the moment. Mixxx can not play or rip songs directly from cd, you have to convert them into supported audio files using 3rd party software.
- Oct 31, 2011 Mixxx 1.9 already has iTunes library support, so you can use iTunes directly inside of Mixxx. In addition to what Sean added (direct import of iTunes playlists is possible in 1.10 by right-clicking them) Mixxx 1.10 has the ability to import PLS and M3U playlists, so you can simply export them from iTunes in one of those formats and import them into Mixxx that way if you prefer.
It is possible to add random tracks to the bottom of the Auto DJ playlist. The tracks are chosen from a set of crates that you have set as a source for Auto DJ, or from the standard library. Mixxx will normally try to select tracks that haven’t yet been played.
