Djay Pro 2 Cdj 350
Updating CDJ means spending significant amount of money just to switch from SSL to SDJ. As Serato announced end-of-life of SSL in the near future, I’m sure you would agree it would need be fair to ask DJs to go through this expense.
The reason I got the CDJ is because of its portability, functions, and relatively lower cost when compared to the other bigger more expensive units. I carry it around in a case I bought made to fit it.
As Serato already has the code to support it in SSL, why would it be so hard to port this to SDJ? If not supporting it is done for business reasons by Serato, I understand but, if for effort, I would say it is minimal to port.
It is just not fair to ask DJs to spent this kind of money when moving to SDJ as Serato is promoting. As such, I would request again if Serato can support the HID interface for the CDJ-350 at some point in the near future. I know that I speak on behalf of many. Keeping us happy for some reasonable effort makes us all free ambassadors for your products.
